i still remember way back in 1995 i had two classes back to back one was a newspaper production class the other was designing for mass media or some such visual comm class nonsense... to make a long story short one day the newspaper production instructor holds up a raygun and proceeds to rip it apart citing poor design and anything else he could get in a rage about. so i head off to my next class right afterwards and the professor for that class holds up the same raygun and says there are some "exciting new things happening in print"
i've been confused ever since.
