    basically, realising where your battles are best fought does not equal lacking passion or concern towards quality, it's a matter of being a realist...

    In general I work 10-14 hr days 6 days a week, I care deeply for what I do, but I'm also aware of what matters and widely it's not in a typeface, a pantone colour or whether someone has seen it before. It's not that those details aren't important, but they're not something the general purchasing public notices, it's the designer who can easily get lost in his or her own details and it usually ends up taking away from what the essence of the idea should be - the communication...

    I think the portfolio in question here is not original, but the work is his.. Let his potential clients or employer decide...
