i know what you mean cinco...when i was little and learning about this stuff (grew up w/wines..ha!) my parents would show me how food would complement the wine.
just tasting a particular wine may seem tart to you...but when you pair it with something which complements it nicely, the effect is different. you'll never get the fruitiness you want from these types, but it may help you expand what you like
