Kuz, I’ll write later how I’ve always played.
Quick Pittsburgh Variations:
- No bouncing (if a ball bounces, the other team can knock it away [and in the process knock over their own beers on accident]).
- No blowing (if a pong ball is spinning around a cup, only girls can blow it out [funny when they blow it, rite into another cup]).
- 2 balls in the same cup means the game is over (this is my favourite rule, which means the other team has to remove the made cup immediately as the other person can if they want, start throwing for it ... variations on this call for the made cup to be always available so even if the player is drinking it, and say ... someone throws the ball off their face and into their cup, the game is over - this is one of those rules that causes a lot of controversy for some reason so bring it up initially).
- Your elbow can not got past the edge of the table you are throwing on.
- If both players make their shots (and not in the same cup), they get the balls back to shoot again.
- Only 2 re-racks at the choosing of the team making their shots.
- Suicide cups (one cup is filled much more than the others on each side).
- If you do not make any cups and lose (though, people tend to get pissy if it is the same cup rule on the first 2 throws), you have to strip and run around the block. There are some more, but I really got to run, haha.
We used to play this game all the fucking time.
