I moved from the US to The Netherlands for my first job/internship. it worked out great but the work visa was a bitch cuz everyone wanted to move to amsterdam so it only lasted for 5 months but I learned a ton of Dutch and got to work at the time at the largest ISP in the Netherlands. Not sure about Europe to the US. Seems very doable expecially if you come out for a few weeks and line up some stuff first then once you got your gameplan then move out with the stuff you will need. Doit. doit.
