    It's categorically false because there's materials on Earth older than the Earth itself (older than the whole solar system actually). The solar system is made of material from a whole other multi nebulae collison.

    Also, you'd have a hard time convincing anyone the authors of Genesis needed to get cosmological order incorrect for a poetic device. That's 'ridiculous.'
