  bolus: Hit your history books. Countless number of early Christians were indeed thrown to the lions. It was great sport for emperors like Nero in particular. Another favorite of his was to line the roads with dead Christains mounted on spears.

  flagellum, you'd better do that, many, many were killed by nero amongst others, for being christian, but the story about christians fighting lions in the colloseum is false
