    all their work is sample-heavy, its just that they use very rare and unheard gems, rip them up and package them as contemporary dance in a daft-punk stylee.

    i knew their stuff was sampleheavy already but i dont mind what they do for the above reasons.
    i make dancey stuff too and some of it uses samples but i try to find rare stuff like DP do.

    the thing that annoys me so much is when you get music from the likes of Mylo. he takes music that is already highly commercial so any form of remix to this music is a guaranteed hit - or that stuff you hear in the charts - friggin phill collins songs with dancey beats and some filtered synth on top of it. i mean COME ON! THAT IS JUST TAKING THE PISS!!
    mind you, if chavs and tarts like dancing to that sort of music in their cheesey clubs then thats what they are going to dance to, eh?

    have you ever listened to Mylo's stuff and notice how much structures and ideas he's ripped off from the likes of Daft Punk?
