The speed III is ridiculous! I took one out from the local triumph dealership the other day and fell in love.
Jevad - if you haven't ridden in awhile, get something a bit smaller and older, at least for the first year of regular riding. An R1/R6/GSXR etc will have you on your ass or in traction before you knew what hit you.
As for the bike debate, if I had my way, I would have a garage full of bikes. Super Sport bikes, Super Cross bikes, touring bikes, cruisers and on and on. From all the manufacturers.
I happen to prefer Euro bikes (hence my ducati and bmw) but I have love for every bike and consider every rider my teammate against the 4 wheeled, steel cage driving army.
Anyone in LA that wants to ride? God I can't wait for work to end so I can fly by all the traffic on the 405...
