As far as the HD's being Dad bikes, I kinda agree. It's a certain strain of person that likes H-D's. MY Dad however rides a 150hp CBR929RR (upgraded cams and full exhaust). The thing is mental. I got it on the freeway and rolled on the throttle and hit 113 before you could spell "brakes".
I like the modern cafe racers as well. The Thruxton's and Ducati's Sport1000. Both really nice bikes. And I rode a Monster S2R1000 and I think that may very well be my next bike. Unless I ride the 1050 Speed Triple and absolutely love that.
