well, i will never respect the church, and as the devout christian you are, you should respect me as a person first and not judge me by my convictions as i have not judged you by yours, this was my point in my church vs brothel post.

(Mar 8 07, 13:06)I certainly do respect you & your thoughts, which is why I even bother to discuss these things with you. Even if you don't respect the church, of which I am an inextricable part. So in a sense you show disrespect to me, but there's nothing I can do about that so it's ok.
