this religion of yours, um first just let me say "holy war" and then maybe what about the rest of the species on this planet that do not try to use the skewed reasoning of man to control one another?
notice that without such things as marriage there is no divorce.
mans ability to reason does not mean that we are reasoning correctly or for the betterment of our kind
also, how many have been killed in the name of god and how many have been killed in the name of sex?
compare churches to brothels. they are the same thing. seek enlightenment or enjoyment and pay your penance for it. the only difference is that the brothel does not complain the church exists.
