cheers for the advice people. It's not often I find myself in this sort of situation. The one thing that is pulling me is the challenge of moving into a new field with new people new environment and going for the job I got off my own back, not through a favour or knowing the people there. I'm feeling that I could really do with that sort of challenge right now. But saying that what Concrete and BottleRocket have said is a different angle. If I go with that I go with option 2...
