(Mar 6 07, 06:50)not necessarily. You should be paid according to your ability and experience. I suppose after a while of proving yourself you can expect more.
You have to ask, why are they getting a junior to replace a senior?
You have to realise this is nothing to do with the quality of your work. You have a 1st class degree and a masters. But you lack experience which is worth a lot. It annoys me too, as I am more able than the seniors in my studio but that's just the way it works.
Your company may be different. If I were you I'd get as much as I could! Screw the 'norm' it's every man for himself!
