that new girls' powers were disappointing. I mean, I love Mystique-type powers because I wouldn't mind having them myself (would be SO useful), but the effects used to convey it were weird and it was REALLY obvious that Claire's mom was actually her (even though the understanding behaviour was due to her not losing her memory again, I think she still would've been a bit more frantic or at least less nice).
