  the generic lights in ur house (ie desk lamps, room lights etc) emit an orange light which means that if you photograph it indoors using ur light you will get and orange glow to it.

  im not familiar with ur camera but it should be something like
  - switch to manual mode
  - go to option
  -select WB
  -and there should be an option to cancel orange hues, or there will be a manual WB adjuster (which you scroll until the picture looks white instead of orange)
