Agreeing largely with Antonelli:
They aren't logos now. the are type that have been paired with graphic elements (that don't have any real symantic or syntactical relationship).
Remember some of the basic parameters to consider such as Should translate into one color and retain integrity, etc...
Back to the drawing board I think. always best to leave the computer behind. Design your logo, then use your friendly computer "tool" to implement it.
