At least she's junior.
Where I work there's a senior designer who just got promoted to associate director who hasn't the first clue about design. She has ripped off countless other companies without changing a thing sometimes it scares me. If I wanted to screw her over I could just email the companies she's ripped of images of her work, they'd sue for sure.
She knows nothing about design. I overheard one of our other deisgners explaining to her who alan fletcher was recently! She often comes over to me and asks to suggest a serif typeface because literally the only one she knows is baskerville.
She's also off sick a couple of times a week and turns about 11 each day. It's a joke.
I know better designers who are still in school.And the reason for her having a senior position and being made an associate director of the company......
....she russian, so speaks fluent russian and therefore can secure the company projects over in russia.
it makes me sick. She is the main reason I'm planning to leave the company in the near future. Then they'll be screwed because no one else can customis/make typefaces, do motion work, teach them illustrator/photoshop/quark, fix printers basically anything.
