    when you get a full bag of scraps, put everything in a pot and cover with water... you can add herbs, salt, pepper [i prefer peppercorn], then bring to a light boil and simmer for 2-3 hours

    you can then strain and make yr soup!

    if you want to freeze stock for later,you need to plunge the pot into an icebath [to avoid bacteria] then strain.

    then fill freezer containers/bags with 1-2 cup servings to thaw into recipes later
