in terms of the price...
if you only knew that every bag only costs less that 10 bucks to make.

http://newstoday.com/pv-an/view_…not sure if you will find something under $80 that has the physical construction for laptops and any electronic storage as these types of bag constructions need lots of padding and re-enforcements that make the cost higher thus the retails become insane.
check ebags.com and go thru that site as you can navigate by price, by fabrication, by styles, by brands and so forth.
the bags in the $80 price point usually have some better padding or construction than a bag lets say at a $49 retail.
Jansport, Northface give lifetime guarantees to their products meaning if you rip or stain or just dont like the bag anymore you can send it back to the manufacturer with a letter of why and you can get a similar bag for the same price point or get a brand new one for no cost.
