    fact.

The only Biblical author who was documented as having slaves was King Solomon (there is much historical evidence proving his existence, by the way).

God allowed his empire to crumble at the end because Solomon strayed from God – he worked his slaves & servants to the bone & had multiple wives.

Anyway, none of the Bible's authors were perfect by any stretch. Although Solomon, for example, had his problems, nowhere in any of his writings does he condone slavery. It was the moments of truth provided by God that his Scriptural writings stem from. There is nowhere in the Bible that actually condones slavery. Paul even goes so far as to tell slaves to try to gain their freedom if at all possible.

    FACT.

I completely understand if you believe none of this, because you won't or can't or whatever. But if you try to disprove or invalidate the Bible, you'll never be able to find a loophole that can't be explained by some other part of Scripture. Especially when you're dealing with someone who has spent their whole life studying said book. Keep trying though, it might eventually make sense to you, as it did to me.
