1.) This works for cans only I'm guessing which is lame.
2.) The whole point of throwing beers to your friends is to get as little spin on it as possible, almost like a knuckleball.
3.) The second point of throwing beers to your friends is to throw it just a little out of their way so they have to move a bit to get it, and subsequently run into a wall, fall down a manhole cover, and/or shows how bad their depth perception is when it hits them in the head.
