    the island shown in Ultimate Spider-man where the Xmen were taken to battle to the finish was ripped from The Running Man back from the 80s. the show was to be the death of all mutants. Spiderman was only there to help save his girlfriend Kitty Pride an Xmen.

    its basicly the same exact storyline.

    nice link though i never heard of the condemed.

    ill definitely check it out.
