I will respond to this thread with an anecdote.

When i started as a college freshmen, I was thinking of being a Philosophy major. The first class was aesthetics.

The first class consisted of arguing which was really "real" art - an apple, a wrench or a soupcan.

That went on with college freshmen eagerness for nearly two hours.

As soon as the class was over, I ran to the admin office to change my major to political science immediately, which, while the stomach turning apple-wrench-soup can debate raged, I figured was much like aesthetics, but someone always had someone with a gun or more money to make one opinion stick at least long enough to get something done.

And as PT Barnum once said, there's one born every minute. And that the art of the huckster is still an art, and perhaps one of mankind's oldest and most refined, and don't you forget it.

And that's what I have to say about that.
