flavorful - I have a similiar story.
When I saw Rob Dickinson of The Catherine Wheel at his solo show last year in Chicago, I was in line to meet him afterwards, surrounded by people, he looked right at me and goes [alluring British accent] "Oh you must be in a band."
My girlfriend took this picture of us:
And afterwards she says, "That's not going to do anything to your ego is it!"
