Yo Kuz. Info below...
1) So are Yams, and Butternut Squash in the same family as sweet potatoes??
- I think they are but don't quote me on that. Actually, I think a sweet potato is a Yam but again, I'm not sure.Thats a great site, cheers for that.
- Thanks. Version4 did a heck of a job setting it up.2) Also, Pasta and bread is out - what about rice? Is there specific type of rice grain that is better or what?? Is it conducive to a low carb diet?
- Brown rice is far superior to white rice. It works the same as a sweet potato. Wheat pasta is also far better than regular pasta. Both can be added to your diet.3) I'm thinking of taking up Creatine supplements. I would do this alongside Whey Protein supplements. Is this a good/great way to gain muscle mass?? In your own personal experience, how will the Creatine help me achieve my goals and is it an efficient way of doing so?
- Creatine has never worked for me. My body holds a ton of water as-is and I always found with Creatine and Glutamine it held even more and my face ended up looking puffy. Nowadays I'm sure there are better Creatine 'Transport Systems" out there but I'll never go back and waste my money with it. I just couldn't ever get it to work for me but, I have friends who swear by it. I know supplements react differently to different bodies so it very well may work for you.Good luck.
