I realized a long time ago that you never really are selling what you think you're selling. You are not selling a website, or even your design skills, you are selling the relationship you create with the client. Eg. I mean really, what's the fucking difference between Pepsi and Coke...really? It's fucking water with sugar in it. What are they selling? A better sugared water? Now, they are selling a "lifestyle" an image" - seriously, that's it...same shit with 99% of the market, including what we do..the other 1% is reserved for the real artisans and singular achievments...
