in terms of job opportunities i'd say calgary has a lot more to offer than edmonton, but besides that and calgary being closer to the mountains there aren't too many huge differences. west edmonton mall is highly overated, unless your a tourist. i'm happy in edmonton though. oh, and hockey sucks.
