i remember when i first moved to the OC. i moved to laguna niguel. it was a living hell. only thing to do there was go to the TGI Fridays. Dana point was right down the street, but even there is boring. Laguna Beach is nice but expensive and gay. Newport Beach is sweet. I like costa mesa area and HB. Long beach is really cool. You won't get stabbed there. But i do know they have steroid junkies there.
don't move to irvine, aliso gayviejo or any place that starts with rancho. you'll be 30 mins from the beach and it isnt the cali experience you are probably looking for.
