Back in the 30s - 60s it was "Planets of the Germans" in movies.
From the 60s - 80s it was "Planets of the Russians".
80s - Today of course it's "Planets of the Arabs"
Would a movie actually make sense today if the bad guys trying to blow up the United States were a bunch of Canadian "Terrorists"?!?
Hollywood has been dumping the bad guy of the time on us since the beginning of time.
I'd say from today on the 'bad guys' in movies will actually be portrayed as the US Government.

The new movie with Chris Cooper who is a Government agent bidding against the US.But then again, Alladin, Heros (the main character is a good 'Arab') one of the old Rambo movies, 3 maybe.
But whatever. Hollywood churns out mostly crap anyways.
