ok so my illustrator lameness has finally come to light.
im basically drawing a map and i need to illustrate the coucils trains routes as well as carriageways etc. so i need to find out how to make a brush setting on illustrator
it kinda need to look like

but with the vertical stroke longer (and the horizontal line all joined up)
does this make sense? any one know how to make brushes in illy? pls pls pls
