the world is not out to get me. i've been telling myself that it was and quite honestly, it does appear to be that way but a simpler explanation is available.
the responsibility for all these failures and missed opportunities falls on my shoulders. as hard as this is to accept, i see no other way.
while i may not fully understand the circumstances, i am willing to accept that i have played an important and unfortunate part in all of this.
