"facet" ~ "fluid" atthe bottom are the most dominant visuals that stand out on the page more than everything cept 1 thing...
your horizontal white lines are the utmost dominant anything on the page. my eyes are leaning toward the lines over the work.
the fonts fail in comparison to the sheer brightness of the horizontl lines that it get to be distracting making me close the page almost instantly and not ever even finishing reading the verbage or clicking the links.
not to say that how it happened, but it did happen.
i say make the lines a lower hue from bright white or raise the balance of the colour and boldness of the fonts to adjust that and thus keep the user on your page and click over closing and leaving and not going back.
