big name djs, A-listers who have the money and go mixing off their laptops has always been something that i never liked. they have the money and connections in the industry to get basically what they want, dubplates cut, promos and tracks on cdr-s, but just want to go to only laptops is not very good. i think a real dj has the skill to use vinyl, cdr, laptops, all the different types of media at their disposal (not just using a laptop) and then make some good stuff with skill.
