    load the separate SWF into a blank mc on the stage instead of a level. And then just use mc.swapDepths getDepths etc to change the layering... or manually adjust layering of mc's in Flash IDE...loading into mc's is more flexible than levels...

    You can't load something in a higher level and make it be in a lower level w/o changing the level. It's either in level A or B, not both.
