i was meeting with a guy that does high-end, custom cabinetry. i really enjoyed the tour, as i'm a hobbiest woodworker, which came up in our discussion
when we met again to review the proposal, he balked at the price. "why is this so expensive? couldn't i get someone to build this site for $500?"
"yes. and couldn't your customers just get me to build their cabinets? i mean, sure, it'll take a lot longer, and my skills certainly are as finely honed as your staff's...but i can certainly do it cheaper."
