i thought his clothes couldn't get destroyed because there's a small forcefield around him at all times unless it's powerful enough to hurt him. like if his skin can be cut by a blade, so can his clothes but regular scissors can't cut even his clothes. that was why if he went in a burning building, his clothes wouldn't get burned, so his not naked everytime he goes in to save someone in a burning building.
