the reason for the regular clothing on Clark is that the creator of Superman has recently passed away and his children have taken a strong battle w/ DC comics and the movie people that anything Superboy or any usages of anything relating to that age of superman will be on permanentt hold.
thus clark will not be getting a costume until he is Superman.
which will not be happening on smallville as the Powers that be have already stated millions of times, also they stated clark will Never fly but he is totally flying.....
