  just do your own thing - it shouldnt matter what people tell you is cool or indie or wtf for that matter. I think the people going around saying "this is really indie - this is really mainstream - etc" are much too pretench and need to chill out. I listen and happen to like Sufjan Stevens...whats it to you? Am I Indie now?
