(Jan 19 07, 09:03)nope. Nothing that really stands out. Everybody ends up going to either Bahstin or New York eventually. I worked at Numark, it was in-house and it sucked royale a la marketing blockheads, ego-fests and strange foreigners.
It seems RISD is really heavy on developping conceptual abilities, without much real-world training. This is common in art schools, but particularly prevalent @ RISD. The result seems to be a bit like the Cranbrook effect: plenty of talented, unemployable designers that end up working at Starbucks.
