blueOne: Pragmatically speaking, no it does not negate those feelings. But if we are just molecules in motion, then we have no reason - in principle - to think anything whatsoever matters. We are simply pretending these feelings are valid to make our existence have some semblance of meaning. In the end however, we're just physical, which means we are deterministically bound and really make no decisions of our own and we will totally cease to exist when we die.
