the biggest set back for soccer on mainstream TV is the non-stop 45 minute halfs. no commercial spots, no money to make.. it's not profitable. you're gonna start seeing banner ads framing your TV broadcast just like a website.

Please different blocks of time are sponsored by specific brans so they have their logo on for a solid 10 minutes by the clock.
Plus the announcers talk about it.
