I agree with 2.0 and dobs that the 20,000 troop sis nominal. In fact, I was assuming that in the past 3 years troop levels have been fluctuating month to month by at least 20,000 troops.
Howeve 2.0, the president obviously doesnt see it as a nominal force, being as how he held a primetime speech and is resting the future of american involvement in Iraq on the success thos etroops have in stabilizing Baghdad.
Its weird- almost as if you are on the anti-war aide and playing devils advocate
