the other side blown out of proportion for arguments sake:
yes he was only jaywalking, but in high foot and vehicular traffic areas. why does his need to get across the street outweigh the need for vehicles to continue down the street
and how bad would the story be if he were hit by a car and even worse died from that.
would it then be the authorities fault as well for not providing a safe environment for those in town for the engagements
it started as jaywalking and ended in civil disobedience
