Wing Tsun/Wing Chun is pretty good. It's what I call an advanced self-defence system. Advanced in that it was designed to counter heavy attacks with very llittle movement or force required. The Shaolin nun (yes they had chicks there too) who invented it passed it on to a local village girl called Wing Chun ("forever spring") so that she could kick the shit out of a bully who wanted to marry her.

(Jan 1 07, 17:54)I study Wing Tsun as well and I highly reccomend this fighting form.
it's more physical than Tai Chi but less than boxing or other kicking/punching forms and twice as effective with less the effort. and if you're dedicated it only takes about 3-5 years to master.
the forms are also healing as well so there is lot's of positive energy along with the self-defense aspect.
