    For the college life ... I like number 1 because the Icon and the text go hand and hand. Personally ... I think you can add some dash of color ... perahps even if it is an outline.

    For Quarterlife ... I would use number 2 as my logo placement and use number 3 text for the wording. I think they are both solid and effective. You can spend countless hours on logos. KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid. ;)
