hmm, I'm not going to be using it enough to warrant an slr, also I want something small I can just kep with me. I think the 850is looks good, the 'is' part is what's appealing. But then the manual and 10mp 6x zoom of the g7 is just as appealing - it may be a little big though...decisions decisions!
