if you're starting to get into photing more seriously, i recommend saving your $ and investing in a good lens. the keyword here is invest. the lens does play into image quality. so save your $200 and wait if you have to, look into spending about $500-$1000 on a 'good' lens, even by other manufacturers.

I completly agree with you, if I was goin to get into serious photography, I would probably get rid of my consumer 300d and get a mamiya and maybe a few storbe, trust me, its not the case..

I guess because of my camera amplification chip I would have to get something extremely wide in order to get the curved style photo, and that means 10-15mm at least, wich will cost over $500 so I'm going to get a tele for now.
