So I'm the genius that takes a day off today to go up to Vail. Well I went up last night when this was still a so-so storm. Had a fantastic day today on the near-deserted mountain, but had to get back for 6.30 for my kids holiday play.
I figure it will be a crappy drive so I leave at 12.30, and I just got home!
Crazy drive started getting scary just ater the tunnel - near whiteout. I have never seen so much carnage on the roads - or unplowed snow for that matter. And I had to abandon my car in teh alley outside infornt of a 4 ft snowdrift.
