Here's the real deal. Make sure you go to a specialist who only deals in root canals, not a general dentist. I just had one with a specialist, and he said 75% of his business is re-doing gen. dentisits shitty jobs. So that's #1.
If you do that, it's a breeze. They're pros. Surgery took 1.25 hours, and I only took 1 anti-inflammatory pill- no pain killers needed. I didn't even fill the prescription. You just can't eat on that side of your mouth for a few days.
I think the horror stories are from people who went to gen. dentists and not specialists. And trust me, there is 1 in your network!
